Meet our Therapists

We understand that choosing the right therapist for you can seem like a daunting task. We hope to take the guess work out of the decision with our Team Introductions listed below.

All of our therapists are highly skilled to treat whatever ailments our clients bring to us. We communicate with each client to get a good understanding of their goals for the massage so that the service can be tailored to meet those goals. Along with massage, we provide free add-on services like cupping, scraping and cryotherapy (use of ice) to enhance the therapy.

Not all of our therapists perform all types of massage or all add-on services. Please read the description below and find the right therapist for the type of massage you need.

Carrie is owner and founder of Flourish Wellness. She graduated with highest honors from Everest College in 2017 with her Massage Credentials. Massage is actually a second career path for Carrie and one that she stumbled upon while coaching CrossFit at several local gyms. Carrie was interested in helping the athletes she was coaching find ways to recover after their strenuous workouts so that she could help prevent injuries and burnout in her athletes. Through her love of receiving massages, Carrie found that becoming a massage therapist would be the ultimate addition for helping local athletes perform their best.

With her extensive knowledge of human anatomy and the function of muscles, Carrie is able to combine her experience as a Crossfit athlete and coach with her skills as a massage therapist to give athletes the very best when it comes to massage. Carrie has worked with local athletes of various sports and all different age groups from young teens to those still performing late in life. In addition to her massage, Carrie is trained and certified in cupping, scraping, kinesio taping, and Medical Myofacial Release techniques which include Trigger point therapy and Pin and Stretch techniques.

As owner of Flourish, Carrie has a wealth of knowledge regarding all the modalities offered at Flourish Wellness. Each treatment option offered on our menu has been thoroughly researched and tested by Carrie herself to ensure its efficacy and therapeutic value. When she's not massaging, she can be found working in various capacities within the spa and she is always happy to meet with clients and help create a specific treatment plan to suit the individual person’s needs.

Light/Medium/Firm

Stasha graduated locally from Spectrum school of massage in 2005. Prior to joining our team at Flourish, she was co-owner of Market Place Chiropractic Wellness Center where she specialized in treatment massages. Many of the clients seen by Stasha at her Wellness Center were clients who suffered injuries in auto accident or had on-the-job injuries. Stasha’s goal has always been to help her clients leave each session feeling better and more able to function in their daily lives.

Through her career, Stasha has been eager to continue her education in areas that would most help her clientele. She spent 2.5 years in additional training learning Structural Relief Therapy, which has shaped her style of massage drastically. This technique incorporates  multiple modalities in its application but the premise is to reset the nervous system to facilitate the release of tension in the muscles without the need for sometimes painful, deep tissue technique.

Some of the other modalities offered by Stasha include CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Trigger Point Therapy, breath work, and Positional Release techniques that she incorporates into her massages. She also offers cupping and hot stones in her massages.

Our menu of massage services

Therapeutic Massage: This massage encompasses all techniques and modalities to achieve the goals for the session whether they be pain relief, improved flexibility and range of motion, increased circulation and lymphatic flow or just plain relaxation.

Sports Massage: This is a massage designed for those with an active lifestyle. Sports massage combines relaxation, deep tissue, stretching and muscular exercise techniques to bring the muscles back to their optimal resting tone. No matter what sport you play, or if it's pre-event, post event, or in the midst of training, your therapist will work with you to identify and target your problem areas to enhance your athletic performance.

Structural Relief Therapy: An advanced therapy that reprograms jammed neurological signals to and from the brain to stop involuntary muscle contraction, instantly change posture, improve joint function, restore range-of-motion, and dramatically decrease pain in the FIRST treatment - instead of trying to use deep and painful pressure to loosen the tight muscles.

SRT is a melding of many different modalities including: Positional Release Therapy, Strain & Counter-strain, Muscle Energy, and Myofascial Release into a fast and efficient protocol. It is gentle for the client and is effective for complex and chronic medical conditions including fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet and carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic whiplash, low back pain, and the "knife in the back" pain.

***First time recipients of SRT should book a 30 minute visit. Longer sessions may overwhelm the client or their nervous system.

CranioSacral Therapy: A gentle but potent way of working with the body using light touch. This therapy works with the whole person and changes may occur in body, mind and spirit during and after sessions.

When a practitioner places their hands lightly on you during a therapy session, they are using them to listen to you in much the same way that a counselor might listen to your words. Your body responds to this sensitive touch by beginning to listen to itself.

Because it is so gentle and non-invasive, CST is suitable for everyone from newly-born babies to the elderly. Women often come during pregnancy, and mothers and their babies for problems associated with difficult or traumatic births.

CST supports your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself, as well as helping to reduce stress and build your underlying energy. The practitioner senses tensions in the body and helps to release it in a supported and comfortable way. During or after a session you may feel calm and energized, with increased clarity of mind and a feeling of well-being.

Prenatal Massage: A massage designed to meet the needs of the expecting mom. Cushions are used to support the body in a side lying position.

L&I or PIP claims: we accept patients with injuries and these types of claims. Client must have a doctor referral and an open claim to book this service. Our service fee will be billed directly to the Insurance provider.

* We do not accept health insurance for our massage services. We can accept HSA and FSA for payment.
