  • Is Red / NIR light therapy safe?
    Yes! Every cell in the body can benefit from red and infrared light therapy and there are no known negative side effects from treatment.
  • How do you administer light therapy?
    At Flourish, we have two options for red + infrared light therapy. Each option is in a private room. One option is our full body treatment option in the red light bed. The other option is a targeted treatment option from a red light panel which hangs on the wall.
  • Do you provide eye protection?
    Yes! We will provide light therapy goggles to wear during your treatment for Red + Infrared light therapy.
  • What do I wear?
    Nothing! You are in a private room where you can undress to your comfort level. Red and infrared light do not penetrate through clothing, so anywhere you want to receive treatment should be left bare.
  • Can Children use light therapy?
    No one under the age of 18 will be permitted to use the equipment without parental consent and/or without the parent in the room to supervise. While anyone can benefit from treatment, we ask that no one under the age of 10 use our facilities. We kindly request ONLY guest with appointments be present during their session - We do not allow friends or children of guest in the room during any of our treatment sessions.
  • Who should not use Red / NIR light therapy?
    Always consult a physician if you are unsure if these treatments are appropriate for you. In general, Pregnant women should not use the Red / NIR light or Infrared sauna. Any one with cancer should not use the light therapy. If you have a pacemaker, always consult with a doctor prior to use. While Infrared wavelengths do not affect the mechanics of the pacemaker, heart conditions can react differently to treatment or high heat. The doctor will tell you everything you may need to know about your specific conditions prior to you using the light therapy or Infrared sauna.
  • What should I do to prepare for my treatment?
    Drinking water before any service at Flourish is recommended. Your skin should be clean and free of oils, lotions and heavy perfumes.
  • What can I bring into my Sauna or treatment?
    The choice is yours. Electronics are not affected by the Red / Infrared. You are welcome to bring a book or use your personal electronic device so long as you have headphones to use. Might we suggest listening to a guided meditation during your treatment? We definitely recommend bringing a water bottle to hydrate as you detox in the sauna.
  • What should I wear for my Sauna Treatment?
    Red and Infrared light do not penetrate through cloth fibers, so wearing clothing can block the healing light from your body. The less clothing the better! Go naked in the sauna! Wearing a bathing suit is also completely acceptable. This also means any area you do not want exposed to Red / NIR light can easily be covered to avoid treatment. Wear loose fitting clothing to make dressing after your sauna session easier.
  • Do you provide towels?
    Yes, we provide fresh sanitized towels for each treatment session. We’ll also provide moist towels for use after the sauna to cool down after your sweat session.
  • How do you sanitize the therapy equipment?
    Keeping our equipment clean and sanitized between each use is our top priority. Did you know that Infrared heat in the sauna kills 99% of bacteria and germs? This means Infrared saunas are already a very sterilized environment to begin with but on top of that we use all non-toxic cleaners to ensure the cleanest and most healthy environment for our guests.
  • Who should not use Red / NIR light therapy or the infrared sauna?

  • Do you take health insurance?
    At this time, we do not accept health insurance. If you wish to to utilize your benefits we can provide you with a detailed receipt so that you can request reimbursement for services from your insurance. If you've been inured on-the-job or in an auto accident and have a referral for massage, we can provide services and bill your claims adjuster.
  • Can I pay with my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Benefit Card?
    Yes, We can accept your health benefit card so long as it has a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover logo on it. We will email you a receipt for your records in the event you need to submit it to the benefit managers.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    Accepted payments: cash, check, credit, and HSA (health savings account) or benefits card.
  • What if I’m late or have to cancel my appointment?
    CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel or reschedule your massage we ask 24 hour advance notice. Any missed massage appointment or one cancelled with less than 24-hours advanced notice is subject to a fee equal to half the service cost or forfeiture of the per-paid or membership benefit. LATE ARRIVAL/NO-SHOW POLICY: If you are late by more than 15 minutes, or No-show, regardless of the reason, your session will be cancelled, and you will be charged our cancellation fee listed above.
